Nugape donates more than 8,000 portions of cat food

Nugape Pet Food in the Pet Fair South East Asia

Nugape Pet Food will present its brands Danna Pet Food and Cebican Cosmo at the international Pet Fair South East Asia, to be held from 30 October to 1 November in Bangkok (Thailand). This is one of the most important international events in the sector, which will bring together 400 exhibitors from 45 countries, with an estimated 15,000 professionals coming from all over the world.

This is the second time this year that the company has attended an industry event on the Asian continent, after its participation in Pet Fair Vietnam last March. The Spanish company is in the midst of an international expansion strategy, focused on increasing its presence in Asia, where it already exports to countries such as Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Georgia, Jordan, Israel, Kuwait, Oman, Lebanon and Qatar.

The aim is to break into the emerging Thai pet food market, which is experiencing an upward trend due to several factors: the humanisation of pets among the younger generations, loneliness among the aging population, urban development and limited space in homes.

Euromonitor International data indicates that in 2022, 37% of Thais had dogs or cats in their homes, registering a growth of more than 15% in the pet population between 2017 and 2022. In fact, the Thai pet food market accounted for 5.5% of the Asia-Pacific pet food market in 2022, experiencing a 63% increase between 2017 and 2022.

Two main brands

Nugape Pet Food will be at stand Y23, presenting two of its brands of dry food for dogs and cats in the medium-high and premium ranges: Cebican Cosmo, which has been established for years in different countries and will soon be launching a new image and formulations, with a philosophy focused on the needs of today’s urban families; and Danna Pet Food, the Spanish company’s bid to position itself in the premium segment.

These recipes, made with natural ingredients, higher percentages of animal protein and essential elements such as taurine, have been formulated by specialists in animal nutrition. They are the result of Nugape Pet Food’s two decades of experience as a leading manufacturer in the industry.
